As one of khaki fabrics, it is a kind of fabric with single-yarn warps and wefts, in 3/1 (knit/purl) left twill weave pattern. There are apparent twill lines on its front but unapparent ones on its reverse side. So, it is generally called as single-sided yarn drill.

The single-yarn drill is neat, clean, plain, soft, uneasy to be deformed, hygroscopic, wear-proof, etc. It is always used for casual pants. Especially, upon wash-and-wear processing, it is more soft and pleasant, without fold. So, it is currently preferable for casual pants.
